Pitch
The Asylum of Dreams invites you to discover the story of a young girl who longs to find her true identity. Committed to the institution run by the eccentric Dr. H. Glotte-Grangousier, she helps him cure his patients in exchange for her own recovery.

In this surreal and hybrid universe blending comics and video games, you will face incarnations of contemporary society and confront the ultimate question: who are you, really?
Synopsis

October 14, 1930…

Leaves gently fall to the ground. Meanwhile, a young girl waits in front of the gates of Dr. Hubert Glotte-Grangousier’s institute, a specialist in incurable mental illnesses.

The Doctor greets her personally and brings her into his office to ask a few questions. Once settled into a huge armchair, this atypical little patient fidgets nervously; she takes off her shoes and feels the floorboards with her toes.

Unable to remember her identity, she insists that the name she was given is not her own, and that the person she was asked to be never was, and never will be. The Doctor diagnoses her with a partial loss of personality, similar to amnesia, with an unknown cause. He raises his finger and suggests that serving meals to each of his patients is the best way to help her recover her senses.

Soon after, something strange happens… Upon contact with the institute’s patients, the young girl is swept into their delusions: she thus finds herself transported to completely absurd worlds, reflecting the anxieties, neuroses, and hallucinations of each one.

In this materialization of minds and somewhat confused thoughts, her goal will be to observe these individuals trapped in their bubbles, find lost objects, and solve the various puzzles related to them, thus comforting Dr. Glotte-Grangousier’s patients in her own way. She will also recover fragments of her personality along her journey which, once gathered, will allow her to reclaim her true identity.
